BENJAMIN MYERS


Benjamin Myers is a writer, poet and journalist. His novel Beastings won the Portico Prize For Literature 2015, was shortlisted for the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize and received a Northern Writers’ Award. Other works include Pig Iron, which won the Gordon Burn Prize and Richard, chosen as a Sunday Times book of the year. His poetry collection Heathcliff Adrift has been exhibited at venues including Durham Cathedral and The Bronte Parsonage. He was born in Durham and currently lives in the Upper Calder Valley, West Yorkshire.
